Did you know that the world practically runs off of technology now a days?
Of course you did. I’m almost willing to bet, however, that you weren’t as aware that your boss or future employer is Twitter/FB stalking you. Be careful what you write. Years of tweets and FB statuses can be pulled up at an employers discretion. Why would they do this? They want to read those boss hating tweets. They want to see the drunken pictures taken on a wild Saturday night. They want to know if you are truly worth having in their employment.
Even though you may think your social media outlet is just an open invitation to rant and rave, post up cool pictures and basically speak without thinking…it’s not. Be careful what you put out there because SOMEONE IS WATCHING!

America has a large problem. And by large problem I mean to say obesity.
An easy way to combat this is through exercise and yes, through a healthy diet. Eating McDonalds and Dominoes on a daily basis is guaranteed to do nothing but expand your waistline. The next time you have a craving for a super salty dose of fries, grab a baked potato with a little sour cream and sprinkle of cheese. Finding healthy alternatives to your favorite “heart attack in a pan” meals can be easy and fun.
Don’t become another statistic. Avoid the “fat” diseases and educate yourself so that you can stay alive for longer.

Injustice is an inevitability of society. Never will there be a justice system that has no flaws and always errs on the side of good. Humans, in themselves, are not perfect. Therefore to expect a man-made system to have no faults is silly.
The case of a young boy in a casual hoodie should never become such a confounding media debacle. A child should be able to walk down the street with skittles without the fear of being gunned down to death. A sovereign state has a responsibility to prosecute any case correctly. And any acting man has a responsiblity as such to claim his actions for what they were and taste the results.
A child is dead, a state law has been shown to be faulty and the nation is waiting with baited breath. In the meantime, remember that YOU can do something to speak up against injustice and make it known that you, as an American citizen, will not stand for this!
GET UP, SPEAK UP, VOTE!

Everyone has an experience in life on which they look at with disgust and frown at in remembrance. As human beings it is an inevitability that we will do something that makes us seem less than worthy or even stupid. It is all part of the journey.
However…
Those dark deeds do NOT diminish your fabulous worth. Turn the negative into positive. Every experience is a chance to grow; to learn a lesson. You don’t have to be proud of what went down but what you should do is remember that EVERY cloud has a silver lining and without a little rain the flowers will not grow. Stand up against the storms and smile because….
DANCING IN THE RAIN IS AWESOME!

Do you have a car? Do you own stuff? Do you dislike when people come and mess with your personal belongings?
The answer to those three questions is usually a yes, and even a resounding DUH! to the last one. The best thing to do so no one commandeers your things is to protect it by being smart. You never want to be put into a face to face situation with a person who is potentially violent and prone to sticky fingers. The best way to avoid theft or property damages is to use your head!
“PROTECT YOUR STUFF” TIPS
1. Never ever leave anything that is valuable in a visible position in your vehicle.
2. Keep all your doors and windows locked when you are not home.
3. Be aware of your surroundings. If it feels funky it probably is.
4. NEVER advertise how much cash you have on your person.
5. Get renter’s insurance just in case something unfortunate happens.
Just be smart and you’ll be ok. A little bit of luck will take you the whole way. At the end of the day be aware and follow some common sense rules.
P.S. (That last little stint wasn’t intentionally meant to rhyme!)

Calling all Earthlings!
Let’s make an effort to keep our planet green and our pocket greener. Making small changes to your lifestyle at home will not only help to keep the planet in a better shape, but your pocket as well. Small things like turning the water off when you brush your teeth or making sure your load is full in the washer can save gallons of water in the long haul. Saving water, saves whales and helps cut back on your water bill. Make sure to turn off your lights and to unplug gadgets when your away. It keeps the planet smiling and you don’t have to worry about outrageous electricity bills.
Just be conscious of your carbon footprint because the planet is your responsibility too!

Be a smart consumer of information. Any information. In today’s world the media can spew garbage or truth, but either way the masses will believe it. Rumors can be spread from person to person but in the end everyone will proclaim it as truth. Lies will be forged and everyone will be infected.
Ignorance, my friends, is NOT bliss.
In your everyday life you are confronted with more information than you probably care to process. It is in your best interest to seek the truth adamently. Just because you heard it on TV or from your best friend doesn’t make it true. Blindly accepting things can lead down a path of drama, drama, drama. Before you assume that because Ashley said Jon did this which Amanda heard ticked off Brandy, go to the root of the problem to not add gasoline to the flame. It never hurts to ask. Besides you might actually get to the TRUTH.
Same goes for the media. Half of the time the news is stained by biases and unsubstantiated claims. Make sure you are not eating it up as ifit were fact. At the end of the day just make sure you have your story straight, your facts right and your opinions supported. Don’t be a zombie. Use your brain.
Remember: BELIEVE HALF OF WHAT YOU SEE AND NONE OF WHAT YOU HEAR!
